Watchmakers used to engraving a mark in some part of the clock movement when they fix them, it was as a watchmaker´s sign, in that way they knew that one clock have already been in theirs hands, old times watchmakers known each other for these marks.

Now I look for the marks that was done by the watchmakers decades ago, but now, I consider that I must leave the clock just as it is, without adding my mark, perhaps the future proprietary of the clock in 100 years time would liked I would have left some mark in it, a mark from this age.
